Requests received M-F before 9AM will have results returned by 1PM Eastern Time the same day. Requests received M-F after 4PM Eastern Time or on the weekend will have results returned by 1PM Eastern Time the following day.

Records are from General District and Circuit Courts since at least 1996 (records in some counties may date back further).

PLEASE NOTE: These records are from all Virginia counties and independent municipalities EXCEPT no Circuit Court records from Fairfax County, Prince William or Alexandria. Records on approximately 10 million persons.

Results generally include the defendant's name, date-of-birth, race, sex, case number, county of disposition, offense date, offense description, disposition, disposition date, and sentence.

Some records in the Virginia database do NOT contain the date-of-birth of the defendant, so some records returned (mostly traffic offenses and low level misdemeanor records) may be matched by name only. This may make it difficult to tell if a record is that of the subject of your search. The county where the offense occurred, however, will be provided so that you can follow-up with a county-level search if needed to determine if the record is that of the subject of your search. Because the Virginia database contains records on more than 10 MILLION persons, name-only matches can not be returned for common names. To help us narrow down the number of possible matching records, it is highly recommended that you provide the subject's middle name or initial when ordering if at all possible.
